EMI - Empowering Migrant Youth Through Development of Entrepreneurial Mindset

Aim: to improve young migrants’ employment opportunities in the labour market by engaging them in an extended Entrepreneurial mindset programme.

Activities: The EMI project aims to improve young migrants’ employment opportunities in the labour market by engaging them in an extended Entrepreneurial mindset programme. The programme follows the needs of the target group and includes distant and face-to-face education enriched with cultural knowledge and facilitated by gamification, cross-border online workshops to foster the skills, a mentorship programme to get insights and widen the network, and a cross-border training session to present own ideas to the youngsters of participating countries.

RARE - Remote Areas Revitalization through digital Engagement

Aim: To foster sustainable development and revitalization in remote and isolated areas by leveraging the unique opportunities presented by hybrid working environments. It seeks to turn these areas into vibrant, sustainable hubs that attract digital nomads and remote workers from around Europe.

AgriHER - Empowering Young Women in Agriculture

My Riga II

Aim: to promote the participation and inclusion of newcomers living in Riga in Latvian society, as well as to foster intercultural dialogue and interaction between newcomers and the host community, encouraging them to recognize themselves as new residents of Riga.

Activities: 1) 6 educational activities for newcomers together with representatives of the host society to explore Latvian history, culture, traditions, and nature. 2) 10 outdoor activities promoting a healthy lifestyle for newcomers, encouraging an active way of life and providing opportunities to discover various leisure activities in Riga and its surroundings. 3) 8 sports activities for newcomer children, involving local children as well, thus promoting a healthy lifestyle, meaningful leisure time, and integration.

Ukrainian women in Latvia - strong and brave II

Aim: to support the continuity of the organization Lab Futura by implementing socio-economic integration measures in Latvia for Ukrainian civilians, especially women, fleeing Russia’s military aggression in Ukraine.

Activities: a series of integration events for Ukrainian civilian women living in Latvia: “My Life in Latvia”, Latvian language lessons for Ukrainian civilian children and youth residing in Latvia, Latvian language conversation club for Ukrainian civilians, English language conversation club for Ukrainian civilians, a study on the integration opportunities and challenges faced by refugees from Ukraine in Latvia, with a focus on the host society’s opinions and attitudes toward newcomers.

MY TOWN - Local Creative Guides
